Biography


Aaron M. Katz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation, Business Services and Healthcare Practice Groups.

Prior to joining Parrett Porto, Aaron served as a legal intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Connecticut, where he assisted assistant U.S. Attorneys in both criminal and civil litigation matters.  After joining Parrett Porto as a legal intern and then becoming an Associate in 2023, Aaron continued to develop his litigation practice and hone his legal skills. He has handled complex matters and provided litigation support at both the state and federal levels for small and mid-size businesses, corporate directors and officers and healthcare organizations, as well as for personal injury plaintiffs.

Aaron earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut, where he was an executive editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, a member of the Mock Trial Society, and a recipient of the CALI Excellence Award, International Environmental Law.  Aaron received his B.A. in Political Science and German from College of the Holy Cross, after which he taught English in Vienna as part of the U.S. Teaching Assistant Program of Fulbright, Austria.

A Somers, New York native, Aaron currently resides in Southington. He is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Section and the New Haven County Bar Association. In his free time, Aaron remains an active student of history and exploring Connecticut’s great outdoors.
