Biography
Prior to practicing law, Michael Dean Amato began his career in public accounting and worked in the corporate financial reporting department of a publicly traded company. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut in 1979 before beginning a career in law.
In 1983, Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut and joined Parrett Porto in 1986. Michael has represented many individuals and businesses in a variety of areas, including business formation and transactions, estate planning, probate, and elder law, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and zoning and land use.
His extensive experience and community involvement serve him well as an attorney for the firm, giving him a wealth of resources to draw from when providing counsel to existing and new clients. Michael resides in Orange, Connecticut and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with his wife, Elizabeth.
