Parrett Porto Proudly Sponsors Reception Welcoming Quinnipiac University’s 10th President, Dr. Marie Hardin

On January 15, 2026, Parrett Porto was honored to be the presenting sponsor for the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce’s reception welcoming Dr. Marie Hardin, Quinnipiac University’s 10^th President, at Cascade Fine Catering in Hamden.

Over 100 attendees, including state and town officials, local business, civic and community supporters, and members of Quinnipiac University, gathered to welcome Dr. Hardin and to celebrate the strong partnership between Quinnipiac and the greater Hamden business community.

Connecting, collaborating and strengthening both past and future relationships was the theme of the evening.  Parrett Porto’s relationship with Quinnipiac spans decades, and ten of the twenty attorneys at the firm are graduates of Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Atty. Jennifer Rignoli, a principal at Parrett Porto, who was a 2006 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law and who also serves as Vice-Chair of the Hamden Chamber, had the privilege of introducing President Hardin:

“When Dr. Hardin was inaugurated as Quinnipiac’s 10th president in the fall, she spoke about the importance of ‘grit,’ that it is a common denominator she shares with the university, and that it intertwines with Quinnipiac’s commitment to ambition and growth….”
